For those staying in Vineyard Cabin Retreat only – Relax in the wood-fired hot tub, which can be ready in just a couple of hours, as the sun goes down over the vineyard.

Bring your binoculars to spot the local wildlife that passes by the cabin.**

Take a walk along the labyrinth of paths cut in amongst the meadows on the farm.**

Pack your favourite food and drink, and head to one of the two picnic areas on the farm for an al fresco meal.**

Fire up the firepit which overlooks the vineyard and watch as the sun sets eastwards**

Arrange for a talk and tour of the vineyard (when time allows only).**

Or just sit and soak in the atmosphere, peace and tranquility.**

Places to visit

Norfolk Broads National Park – (the farm boarders the park) – explore Norfolk’s world famous and amazing nature reserves, from the oldest Wildlife Trust in the UK to the smallest.

East Ruston Old Vicarage Garden (1 mile) – is a 32-acre garden paradise curated by Alan Gray over the past 40 years.

How Hill National Nature Reserve (6 miles) – a scenic spot where you can see Marsh Harriers and rare Bittern. The electric boat tours will be memorable.

Norfolk Motorcycle Museum (5 miles) – a huge collection of amazing machines from all eras. A must for the petrol heads out there.

Neatishead Radar museum (5 miles) – one of the best examples of a preserved ex-military establishment in the UK – Excitable enthusiasts will be taken away to the Second World War.

Blickling Hall Estate (17 miles) – a Jacobean mansion with a beautifully manicured garden framed by ancient yew hedging and surrounded by a historic park. A must visit for those in need of a culture fix.

Blakeney National Nature Reserve (19 miles) – discover wide open spaces and uninterrupted views of the beautiful North Norfolk coastline, while looking out for local and migratory wildlife. Boat tours to see the huge population of seals is a must do treat.

Cromer, Sheringham, Mundesley and Sea Palling (and more) – are all within a 10 to 20 minute drive away. We are proud of these wonderful unspoilt traditional seaside resorts.

North and East Norfolk coastline (the farm is 2 miles from Happisburgh and Walcott) – explore and walk along endless miles of sandy beaches, clifftops and sand dunes with hardly a soul to disturb you.

Stalham (1.5 miles away/ nearest town) – Stalham is a small town with all you need to pack the shelves full of your favourites. The High St is fab and ideal for a wander and a pint in the local pub.

Many Restaurants and pubs are nearby – The Swan at Ingham, The Star at Lessingham, The Lighthouse Inn and Poachers at Walcott, The White Horse at Neatishead, and many more (most are dog friendly but check before booking).

Outdoor & Active

Wroxham (6 miles) – allegedly the capital of The Norfolk Broads. Boat trips, hire a boat, fishing, and other water-based activities can be started from here – not to mention a fine fish and chips.

Seal watching (18 miles) – take a guided boat trip at Blakeney Point Reserve.

Walk along Weavers Way (400 metres) – right on your doorstep, this ex-railway line runs over 60 miles through woodland, farmland, grazing marshes, and mud flats. Or bring your bike and cycle.

Head out on foot to explore the local village or discover the multitude of public footpaths right from the farm.
