Norfolk Vineyard Retreats
With just a ten-minute drive from the glorious North East Norfolk coastline, sits our six-acre farm. We are lucky enough to be surrounded by miles of green fields, hedgerows, plenty of wildlife and not to mention the amazing and world renowned Norfolk Broads National Park. Here on the farm you will find our perfectly formed traditional vineyard. There are 800 German white variety vines in the vineyard. In addition there is an orchard, a wildlife pond, a firepit, several honey bee hives, a labyrinth of grassy paths and a kitchen garden. You will be treated to all the usual british wildlife during your stay.
For those who want to explore further, then you will be within easy reach of a huge variety of things to keep you busy – as mentioned, the Norfolk coast is a 5 minute drive away and the famous Norfolk Broads surrounds. We are also within 20 minutes of many traditional seaside resorts including Sea Palling, Cromer, Sheringham and Mundesley; not to mention the golden sands of Great Yarmouth.
We feel we are extremely lucky to be able to call this home and for this reason are hoping to share this very special place with guests throughout the year. We are thrilled to be entirely powered by the sun here at the farm as we have had an array of solar panels and storage batteries installed in 2022, which enable us to enjoy a self sufficient net zero existence in terms of power usage. As keen conservationists we also deploy as eco-friendly practices as is possible and follow a regenerative farming practices in the vineyard as well.
We have 2 fabulous places to stay – completely separate from one another but can also be booked together when available. Vineyard Cottage is a 2 bedroomed cottage with it’s private and dog-friendly garden and is available for up to 4 guests. Vineyard Cabin Retreat overlooks its own fenced garden, with it’s own firepit to enjoy starry night skies and a fantastic freshwater wood-fired hot tub for you to soak in under those starry nights whilst enjoying a glass of bubbly, and this is available for up to 2 guests.
